BELINDA ALLEN

My mother first introduced us to skiing in the 1960’s back then we would stay at the Chalet in Charlotte Pass, this planted the seed of great affection and love of the mountains which motivated me to head back down when I finished school in the early 1980’s. 

I worked at the chalet in ‘83 then headed over to Thredbo and worked there over a span of years which included the 80’s, 90’s and early 2000’s. 

In that time I worked on the mountain, in the hotel and at the iconic T-Bar Restaurant and these experiences were some of my fondest memories of the mountains. 

I was married in the late 1980’s and raised my 3 children in our owner built home on rural land on the outskirts of Jindabyne while starting up and running our small rural supplies and nursery business. 

I am currently retired and remarried to my wonderful Mr Ed and we now spend time between our home in the mountains and our home on the coast but my heart is always in my beloved Snowy Mountains.
