DANIELLE DEVINE

Danielle is born and breed local of the Snowy Mountains. Danielle spent her early years in a lodge in the mountains before moving to Jindabyne where she has spent the last 47 years. The Snowy Mountains are home and Danielle has a particular love of the Perisher, Charlotte Pass & Kosciusko range areas, not to say that the Thredbo Valley and Jindabyne do not feature in her works as well. 

An avid skier and photographer, oil pastels allow her to combine her love of both. The colours of the mountains here in Australia are unique and Danielle has expressed that oil pastels really allow her to bring those huge variety of colours to life. Danielle has said the colour of the sky on blue bird ski day is the hardest to replace but she strives to get it right.
