MELINDA HELBLING

5 years of formal art training, 3 decades of planning, 20 years of gypsy style family travel and extensive entrepreneurial experience are the elements that are behind the work of Mel Bling.

Her love of nature combined with obsession with fine art, added with a definitive quirkiness all contributes to her addictive style, always inspired by the mountains, humans or animals.

Born in Sydney, Mel creates between Jindabyne, the Central Coast and Cairns, choosing to alternate between wood burning (pyrography), charcoals and oils. 

Mel 's goal is to resonate with people by connecting them to art they love, and to create works based on positivity.

She will not release anything she personally does not love and does not have to get out of her system.
