JUDY BENNETT

Judy is a local Cooma Artist who works mostly in watercolour medium.

Judy joined the Coonabarabran Art Group whilst living there many years ago and used topping each week with other artists. As her girls got older she started sketching and painting horses whilst they were at the local Pony Club.

After a move back to Sydney, she joined the Ku-rin-gai Plein Air Art Group, Forestville TLC Group and the Dee Why Art Group she was introduced to watercolour and has been using that medium ever since.

Judy now resides in Cooma where she is an active member of the Monaro Art Group. The local landscapes inspire most of her work which she can do on the side of the road in her car.  She loves experimenting with facts of lights and washes with watercolour.
